The present paper describes the results of experimental investigations of heat transfer and pressure drop during the condensation of the R134a and R404A refrigerants in pipe minichannels with internal diameters d = 0.31–3.30 mm. The results concern investigations of the local heat transfer coefficient and a pressure drop in single mini-channels. The results were compared with calculations according to the correlations proposed by other authors. Within the range of the examined parameters of the condensation process in mini-channels produced from stainless steel, it was established that the values of the heat transfer coefficient may be described with Akers et al. and Shah correlations within a limited range of the mass flux density of the refrigerant and the mini-channel diameter. A pressure drop during the condensation of these refrigerants is described in a satisfactory manner with Friedel and Garimella correlations. On the basis of the experimental investigations, the authors proposed their own correlation for the calculation of local heat transfer coefficient αx.  相似文献

Measurements of developing films in adiabatic high pressure steam-water flow in annular geometry have been reanalyzed and compared to a linearized film-flow model. The development rate of the outer film could be determined with good accuracy in four cases. In one case it was also possible to conclude that the inner film develops faster than the outer one. When compared to the linearized model, these observations show that the deposition rate has to be almost independent of the drop concentration at the investigated conditions. Furthermore, any significant deposition by direct impaction of drops can be excluded as it would couple the development of the two films. These conclusions are quite general and do not depend on the use of any particular correlation for the deposition or entrainment rates. Finally, a rough estimate of the deposition rate was possible, confirming that deposition rates are considerably lower at high pressure steam-water flows than in air-water flows.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to assess the influence of amaranth seeds in different doses, under conditions of oxidative stress induced by dietary fructose, on antioxidant status of selected rat tissues, erythrocytes and plasma. Fructose administration caused oxidative stress that was manifested by the increase in plasma malondialdehyde and by the decrease in the enzymatic antioxidant activity. Co-administration of amaranth seeds influenced the oxidative stress, as was evidenced by decreasing malondialdehyde in plasma and changing the activities of antioxidant enzymes (erythrocyte superoxide dismutase, catalase, and plasma glutathione peroxidase). Our findings demonstrate that amaranth seeds can act as a moderate protective agent against fructose-induced changes. Our results suggest that the antioxidative system of plasma, heart and lungs is more efficient when amaranth seeds are present in the diet.  相似文献

Changes in chemical composition and antioxidative properties of rye ginger cakes during their shelf-life were investigated in this study. In particular, the changes in antioxidants content, antioxidative and reducing capacity, and Maillard reaction development in rye ginger cakes after long-term storage were addressed. Ginger cakes produced according to the traditional and current recipe were stored for 5 years at room temperature in a dark place. The total phenolic compounds (TPC), inositol hexaphosphate (IP6), reduced (GSH) and oxidised glutathione (GSSG) contents, antioxidant and reducing capacity and Maillard reaction products (MRPs) were determined in ginger cakes after storage and then compared to those measured after baking. After long-term storage a decrease in TPC and IP6 contents in cakes was noted. In contrast, an increase in antioxidative and reducing capacity of stored cakes was observed. Long-term storage induced formation of furosine, advanced and final Maillard reaction products and caused changes in both reduced and oxidised forms of glutathione. After long-term storage the modest changes in furosine, FAST index and browning in ginger cake formulated with dark rye flour may suggest that this product is the healthiest among others. Therefore, traditional rye ginger cakes can be considered as an example of a healthy food that is also relatively stable during long term storage as noted by the small chemical changes observed in its composition.  相似文献

The peripheral blood levels of TNF α and its soluble receptors were studied in 39 patients with malignant and benign adrenal tumors treated by adrenalectomy. The concentrations of TNF α were significantly elevated in patients with malignant tumors of the adrenal cortex and in patients with Conn’s syndrome compared to control. In patients with non-functioning adenomas and pheochromocytomas, TNF α levels were similar to those detected in the control. In subjects with myelolipomas, the serum concentration of TNF α was lower compared to the control. After adrenalectomy, the levels of TNF α were decreased in patients with malignant tumors and in patients with Conn’s syndrome, nonfunctioniong adenomas and pheochromocytomas compared to the concentration before surgery. The serum concentrations of soluble receptors of TNF α did not differ among different patient groups and compared to the control. After adrenalectomy, the blood concentrations of TNF α R1 and TNF α R2 were decreased in patients with Conn’s syndrome. However, to confirm practicality of the evaluation of TNF α and its soluble receptors in differential diagnosis in patients with adrenal tumors, a larger study group is needed.  相似文献

The influence of stereochemistry on the radical scavenging activity of catechins was investigated by studying the effect of pH on the antioxidant properties of catechin epimers. The difference in the pH-dependent Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) profiles was observed only in case of gallocatechin gallate (GCG) and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), indicating the influence of steric structure on the TEAC antioxidant activity of these galloyl moiety-containing catechins. Based on comparison of the pH-dependent TEAC values to theoretically calculated parameters, including homolytic OH bond dissociation energy and ionization potential (IP) as well as theoretically predicted structures of the most stable monoanions of GCG and EGCG, it was concluded that due to steric hindrance in GCG molecule, the IP value of GCG monoanion increases reflecting lower radical scavenging capacity of GCG in comparison with EGCG. It results in the difference in the pH-dependent TEAC profiles of these two catechin epimers at pH above 3.5. This effect does not occur for other pairs of catechin epimers of this study.  相似文献

Helium standard leaks are widely used to check and calibrate mass spectrometer leak detectors. Precisely known gas flows are required for measurement of quantities of standard leak rates. A fundamental task of the constructed and presented calibration apparatus is precise measurement of gas leak rate. Thus a primary standard for calibration helium standard leaks in the range from 10−10 to 10−5 Pa m3/s has been completed at the Laboratory of Vacuum Measurements in Tele & Radio Research Institute.  相似文献

Grain refinement in metallic materials down to submicro and nano scale results in improvement of mechanical properties. However, increase in strength under static load is not always accompanied by improved fatigue behaviour. In the current studies microstructure and mechanical properties of the submicrocrystalline RS442 aluminium alloy (chemical composition corresponds to conventional 442 cast alloy) were investigated. The alloy was subjected to rapid solidification followed by the extrusion process (variant 1) and additional annealing at 450 °C (variant 2). Rapidly solidified alloy was also consolidated with addition of graphite (variant 3). As the reference material conventionally cast and extruded alloy was also tested (variant 4). For all material variants strength properties were tested in static tensile test and high-cycle stress-controlled fatigue bending tests. It was found that rapid solidification and plastic consolidations led to increase of static mechanical properties of 442 alloy but reduced its fatigue strength.  相似文献

A discrete model of a rope with spiral springs in joints is considered, the aim being to include transverse elasticity of the rope. Elastic characteristic of the springs is derived on the basis of simple geometrical formulas and the classical curvature-bending moment relationship for beams. Lagrange’s equations of motion are presented and their complexity is discussed from the computational point of view. Numerical experiments are performed for a system with both scleronomic and rheonomic constraints. The influence of the elasticity on behaviour of the model is analyzed. Results validity is examined in terms of basic energy principles.  相似文献

N2O annealing of oxides in both Si and SiC is known to result in a similar accumulation of nitrogen at the semiconductor-oxide interface, but the reoxidation of oxynitrides is different in these materials. With Si, the nitrogen at the interfl£e is unaffected upon re-oxidation even under high oxidant flow conditions. With SiC, as shown in this paper, complete depletion of the nitrogen from the interface is observed with the re-oxidation of SiC oxynitrides for both 3C and 4H polytypes. The depletion of the nitrogen from the interface is strongly dependent on the re-oxidation temperature. Results are described and a possible mechanism proposed.  相似文献
